Cast On
Here's how to cast on:
Choose your yarn and needles.
Make a slip knot with the yarn and place it on your needle.
Hold the needle in your non-dominant hand and the yarn tail in your dominant hand.
Wrap the yarn over your thumb.
Insert the needle tip under the yarn on your thumb, from back to front.
Grab the yarn tail with the needle tip and pull it through the loop on your thumb. You now have two stitches on your needle.
Repeat steps 4-6 until you have the desired number of stitches, making sure the total number of stitches is a multiple of 4 + 1.
