Crochet Preemie Baby Hat
Materials Needed:
- Size I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors

Pattern Instructions:
Magic Ring:
- Create a magic ring.
- Work 8 half double crochet (hdc) stitches into the magic ring.
- Pull the tail to close the circle.
Join and Start Round 2:
- Slip stitch to the first hdc to join.
- Chain 1.
Round 2 (Increase Round):
- In the same stitch as the chain 1, work 2 hdc.
- Work 2 hdc in each stitch around.
- You should have 16 hdc at the end of this round.
- Slip stitch to the first hdc of the round to join and chain 1.
For Round 3:
- Do 1 hdc in the first stitch.
