Pattern Instructions:

Round 1:

  • Make a magic circle.
  • [Single Crochet (sc), Chain 1] 12 times into the circle.
  • Slip stitch (sl st) to the first sc to join.

1 Save

For Round 2:

  • Chain 1 (counts as the first sc).
  • Back Post Single Crochet (bpsc) around the first stitch from the previous round.
  • Chain 2.
  • Continue with back post double crochet (bpdc) around each subsequent sc followed by chain 1 for a space.
  • After completing the round, you should have 12 bpdc.
  • Join with a sl st to the top of the first bpdc.

Round 3:

  • Chain 1 as the starting stitch.
  • Make "front post double crochet" (fpdc) around each bpdc from round 2.
  • Between each fpdc, chain 1.
  • After you complete this round, you will have created a "popcorn stitch" pattern, with 12 popcorn stitches crafted.
  • Join with a sl st to the top of the first fpdc.

2 Save

Round 4:

  • Chain 1.
  • Start with a front post double crochet (fpdc).
  • Chain 2 between each fpdc to create spaces.
  • End the round with 24 chain-2 spaces.
  • Join with a sl st to the top of the first fpdc.

In Round 5:

  • Work a sc in each fpdc and 2 sc in each chain-2 space from round 4.
  • By the end of this round, you should have 60 sc.
  • Join with a sl st to the beginning sc.

Round 6:

  • Using only the front loop, work a sc in each stitch from round 5.
  • You will still have 60 sc in this round.
  • Join with a sl st.

Round 7 - Using Back Loop Only:

  • Skip the ch-1 and start with a sc in the back loop of the first stitch.
  • Continue with 4 sc, then increase every fifth stitch by making 2 sc in one stitch.
  • You should end with 72 sc by the end of this round.

In Round 8:

  • Similar to round 6, work a sc through the back loop only in each stitch around.
  • Join with a sl st to the first sc.

3 Save

Round 9 to Round 19:

  • These rounds seem to continue with variations of sc, increases, front post, and back post stitches, with specified chain spaces and "clusters" to create a textured pattern. Unfortunately, the detailed pattern for each of these rounds is very lengthy and intricate. Please refer to the actual video for visual representations of each stitch and placement.

Round 20 - Final Round:

  • Finish with a round of sc in each stitch around.
  • Join with a sl st to the first sc.

Finish:

  • Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
