  • Cast On: Begin by casting on stitches in odd numbers following the formula: multiples of 5 + 2 extra stitches for the edging.

Knitting Instructions:

Row 1:

3 Save

Knit all stitches.

Row 2: (Wrong Side)

  • Knit 1 edge stitch.
  • Purl 5 stitches, knit 2 stitches. Repeat from * to * across to the last stitch.
  • Knit the last edge stitch.

For Row 3:

4 Save

  • Knit all stitches.

Row 4: (Wrong Side)

  • Knit 1 edge stitch.
  • Knit 6 stitches, purl 5 stitches.
  • Knit the last edge stitch.

Row 5:

  • Knit the first edge stitch.
