Crochet Scarf Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Yarn: Himalaya Everyday
- Crochet Hooks: 7mm for the first row, 6.5mm for the rest of the scarf
- Colors: 4 different colors (You can choose as per your preference)
Pattern Steps:
Starting the Scarf:
Starting with the First Row:
- Leave 15 cm of yarn for the fringes.
- Using the 7mm crochet hook, make the slip knot.
- Crochet 15 chain stitches (adjust the number of stitches based on the desired width).
- Chain one more, cut the yarn, leaving another 15 cm for the fringe, and pull it through.
Second Row:
- Switch to the 6.5mm crochet hook.
- Start on the side you finished the first row.
- Instead of the top loops, crochet into the back loops for this row.
- Leave 15 cm of yarn for the fringe and make a slip knot.
- Start in the first back loop, yarn over and pull through, continue to the end of the row in each back loop.
- Chain one, cut the yarn leaving 15 cm, and pull it through.
Third Row:
- Use the next color of yarn.
- Start on the same side as the second row.
- Crochet into the very first loops (the loops below the two top loops) for this row.
- Repeat the process of starting with a slip knot, leaving 15 cm of yarn, and crocheting into each of the first loops to the end of the row.
- Chain one, cut the yarn leaving 15 cm, and pull it through.
Continuing the Scarf:
- Repeat the process, alternating colors as desired and maintaining the pattern of crocheting into the back loops and then the front loops for subsequent rows.
Finishing the Scarf:
- You can crochet as many rows as you want to reach the desired length.
- To finish the scarf, the last row should be done the same as the others, with no special adjustments.
- After completing the final row, trim the fringes to ensure they are all the same length.
