Materials Needed:

  • Yarn: Himalaya Everyday
  • Crochet Hooks: 7mm for the first row, 6.5mm for the rest of the scarf
  • Colors: 4 different colors (You can choose as per your preference)

Pattern Steps:

Starting the Scarf:

Starting with the First Row:

  • Leave 15 cm of yarn for the fringes.
  • Using the 7mm crochet hook, make the slip knot.
  • Crochet 15 chain stitches (adjust the number of stitches based on the desired width).
  • Chain one more, cut the yarn, leaving another 15 cm for the fringe, and pull it through.

Second Row:

  • Switch to the 6.5mm crochet hook.
  • Start on the side you finished the first row.
  • Instead of the top loops, crochet into the back loops for this row.
  • Leave 15 cm of yarn for the fringe and make a slip knot.
  • Start in the first back loop, yarn over and pull through, continue to the end of the row in each back loop.
  • Chain one, cut the yarn leaving 15 cm, and pull it through.

Third Row:

  • Use the next color of yarn.
  • Start on the same side as the second row.
  • Crochet into the very first loops (the loops below the two top loops) for this row.
  • Repeat the process of starting with a slip knot, leaving 15 cm of yarn, and crocheting into each of the first loops to the end of the row.
  • Chain one, cut the yarn leaving 15 cm, and pull it through.

Continuing the Scarf:

  • Repeat the process, alternating colors as desired and maintaining the pattern of crocheting into the back loops and then the front loops for subsequent rows.

Finishing the Scarf:

  • You can crochet as many rows as you want to reach the desired length.
  • To finish the scarf, the last row should be done the same as the others, with no special adjustments.
  • After completing the final row, trim the fringes to ensure they are all the same length.
