  • Purl 3.

Follow the pattern repeat:

  • Knit 4 stitches together through the back loop (twist the stitches without dropping them from the needle).
  • Then knit these 4 stitches again through the front loop.
  • Wrap the yarn round as if to make a yarn over, then pull this loop through.
  • Purl 3.
  • Repeat this pattern across the row.

Row 4:

4 Save

Slip the 1st edge stitch purlwise with yarn in front, purl all stitches.

Repeat Rows 1-4 until you reach the desired length of your project.

Finishing:

  • Once you've reached your desired length, cast off all stitches purlwise to maintain a smooth edge.

Note:

  • The "knit 1 below" technique and the unique twist-and-wrap method used in this pattern create a distinct texture that stands out in your knitting projects. This pattern looks complex but is quite simple once you get the hang of the repeat.

Remember, knitting is all about practice. It might take a few attempts to get the pattern just right, but the result is well worth the effort!
