Instructions
Stitch Number Selection
- For a 6-month-old baby, CO 33 sts.
- For a newborn baby, CO 31 sts.
Casting On & Initial Rows
- CO 35 sts using a single thread, ensuring they are loosely done.
- Purl all sts for the first row.
- Row 2: Begin increasing to reach 55 sts total. K2tog, sl1, K1, rep until 55 sts.
- Place a marker after every 15 sts.
- Row 3: Purl all sts.
Stitch Increases
- Row 4: Increase sts as Row 2, but with distribution as follows – K2tog, sl1, K next 15 sts, K2tog, sl1, then K remaining 15 sts.
