Starting the Crochet Bag (Magic Circle and Base):

Magic Circle:

  • Make a magic circle.

First Stitches:

  • In the magic circle, crochet 3 single crochets.

First Chain:

  • Make a chain, but do not pull the thread tightly. Leave it a little open.

Second Row:

  • In the second row, start with 2 single crochets in the first stitch, placing a marker in the first stitch.
  • Make 3 single crochets in the middle base stitch, placing a second marker in the middle point.
  • End the row with 2 single crochets in the last base stitch, placing a third marker in the last stitch.

Ensuing Rows:

  • Proceed by increasing stitches at the markers with 2 single crochets at the beginning and end of each row, and 3 in the middle base stitch.
  • Continue this pattern for a total of 12 rows.

Body of the Bag (Increasing and Decreasing Patterns):

Decreasing Rows:

  • After completing 12 rows with increasing stitches, switch to a decreasing pattern.
  • Start decreasing by combining two stitches at the beginning and end of each row and continue to make 3 single crochets in the middle marker.
  • Repeat this decreasing pattern until 32 rows are completed.

Total Row Count:

  • You should now have a total of 44 rows (12 rows increasing + 32 decreasing).

Finishing the Crochet Bag:

3

Bag Edges:

  • Crochet single crochets along the side, the bottom, and the other side of the piece. Do not edge the lid at this step.

Folding and Sewing Sides:

  • Fold the piece in the middle and mark where to sew, leaving 3 stitches on each side for the fold-over flap.
  • Use slip stitches to sew along the marked sides.

Applying Rhinestones:

  • Lay out rhinestones on the lid, glue them for fixation, and then sew each one on individually using the provided openings for sewing.

Magnetic Button:

  • Sew the magnetic button to the corresponding parts of the bag's body and lid.

4

Strap:

  • Attach carabiner rings on each side of the bag if desired and attach a strap, which could be a chain or a crocheted one for a personal touch.

Final Measurements:

  • Width: 22.5 cm
  • Height: 42 cm (without flap)

Conclusion:

  • Finish hiding the ends and cutting/burning any excess thread.
