- Joining Granny Squares:
Start the Join:
- On the round before the last round of a granny square, prepare to join by slip stitching to the first chain-two corner space.
Joining Method:
- As you work the last round of a granny square, join to an adjacent square at the corner and then at each chain-one space along the side by dropping the loop from your hook, inserting the hook in the corresponding space of the adjacent square, picking the loop back up, and pulling it through to join.
Complete the Join:
- Continue joining along the side by working three double crochets in the chain-one spaces of your working square and joining to the adjacent square as described.
Finish the Square:
- Complete the round as normal, and then fasten off.
