  • Slip stitch and chain 1.

Row 4:

  • Single crochet around.
  • Do 4 single crochets.
  • Chain 13, slip stitch on the first chain, and chain 2.
  • 13 double crochets.
  • Slip stitch on the first double crochet and chain 2.
  • Repeat the process until you are happy with the length.

Shaping:

  • Follow the pattern outlining varying increases and decreases to shape the piece, including sequences of double crochet increases and decreases and sequences for creating texture and shaping.

Final Rows:
