Round 1:

Round 2:

  • Crochet one single crochet, one increase, repeat six times to end up with 18 stitches.

After Round 3:

  • Crochet two single crochets, one increase, repeat six times to have 24 stitches.

Round 4:

  • Crochet three single crochets, one increase, repeat six times to reach 30 stitches.

Round 5:

  • Crochet four single crochets, one increase, repeat six times for a total of 36 stitches.

Start Decreasing for the Top of the Mushroom:

Decrease round:

  • Crochet four single crochets, one decrease, repeat six times to get back to 30 stitches.

Next Decrease Round (Round 6):

  • Crochet three single crochets, one decrease, repeat six times for 24 stitches.

Continue Decreasing (Round 7):

  • Crochet two single crochets, one decrease, repeat six times to have 18 stitches.

Final Decrease Rounds:

  • Continue with one single crochet and one decrease, repeating six times until you reach 12 stitches.

Round 8:

  • Crochet one single crochet in each stitch around (12 single crochets).

Forming the Mushroom Foot (Round 9):

  • Crochet four single crochets, one decrease, repeat twice to get down to 10 stitches.

Maintaining the Foot (Round 10):

  • Crochet 10 single crochets (one in each stitch).

Decreasing the Foot Further (Round 11):

  • Crochet three single crochets, one decrease, repeat twice to have 8 stitches left.

Round 12:

  • Crochet one single crochet in each stitch around (8 single crochets).

Forming the Base (Final Round - Round 13):

  • Crochet two single crochets, one decrease, repeat twice to end with 6 stitches.

Finish:

  • Cut off the yarn. Weave in both yarn ends to secure.
  • To flatten the top, thread the yarn end through the top section and pull tight. Wave in the end for a neat finish.
