Materials:

  • White yarn or color of your choice
  • Three additional colors for ornaments (suggested: yellow, blue, bright pink)
  • Two 6-mm safety eyes
  • Blush or eye shadow for cheeks
  • Stuffing
  • 3-mm crochet hook
  • 3-mm yarn

Finished Size:

Approximately 8 centimeters from legs to the head.

Pattern:

Legs (Make 4):

3 Save

Start with a magic ring of 3 stitches.

  1. Mark the first point and do an increase in each stitch to have 6 stitches.
  2. Close the magic ring, continue with two stitches, and increase twice to have 8 stitches.
  3. Finish with a round of 8 single crochets, cut the yarn, and close.

Body:

  1. Chain 9, do an extra chain to lift the fabric, and make 9 single crochets.
  2. Do two more rows of 9 single crochets.
  3. Chain 1, and make a single crochet on one short side of the rectangle, for a total of 4 single crochets.
  4. Join legs by attaching them at the corners of the rectangle piece with single crochets (3 per leg).
  5. Once all legs are joined, work around the entire piece, distributing stitches evenly.
  6. Continue with rounds, creating gradual increases to widen the body, followed by several rounds of consistent stitch count for body length.
  7. Gradually decrease for the body to taper off, and fill the legs and body with stuffing.

4 Save

Head:

  1. Continue increasing from the body to create the head.
  2. Work several rounds with increases followed by rounds with consistent stitch count to build up the head.
  3. Gradually decrease to shape the forehead and face, then stuff the head.
  4. Close the head by passing a yarn needle through the front loops of the final stitches and pulling tight.

Ears (Make 2):

  1. Chain 4, turn and slip stitch into the first chain, followed by 3 single crochets down the chain.

Tail:

  1. Start with a magic ring of 3 stitches.
  2. Increase in each stitch for a total of 6 stitches, followed by a round of 6 single crochets.

2 Save

Back Decoration:

  1. Chain 14 in your chosen color, plus 1 for lifting the fabric.
  2. Work 14 single crochets, change colors, and work two rows per color for a striped effect.

Finishing:

  1. Attach the tail, ears, and back decoration to the body.
  2. Sew the safety eyes between rounds 5 and 6 from the top of the head.
  3. Optionally, use blush or eyeshadow to add cheek details.

Assembly:

  1. Sew on eyes, tail, and ears.
  2. Add the decorative back cloth, securing it with pins and attaching the pompom at the center.
