  • 6 mm crochet hook
  • Chanel yarn
  • Stitch marker (or scrap yarn)
  • Yarn needle
  • Stuffing material
  • 10 mm safety eyes

Pattern Instructions:

Mushroom Cap:

1 Save

Create a slip knot and chain 2.

In the second chain from hook, make 6 single crochets (SC) into the ring.

Increase (2 SC in each stitch) around - You should have 12 SC.

SC into the first stitch, increase in the next - Repeat around for a total of 18 SC.

2 Save

  • SC in the next 2 stitches, increase in the next - Repeat around for a total of 24 SC.
  • For rows 6-8, SC in each stitch around, marking the beginning of each row with your scrap yarn.
  • Change to white yarn (or color of choice for the mushroom stalk) and start the 9th row in the back loop only: decrease, SC in the next 3 stitches - You should have 24 SC.

Mushroom Stalk:

3 Save

  • Increase in each stitch - You should end with 12 SC.
  • Increase in the first stitch, SC in the next - Repeat around for a total of 18 SC.
  • Rows 16-20: SC in each stitch around. Count and mark the rows.
  • Begin the stalk decrease: Invisible decrease over the next two stitches, SC in the next stitch - Repeat around for a total of 12 SC.

Finishing the Mushroom:

4 Save
