Pattern Corrections & Tips

  • Tip: If your heart looks uneven, ensure stitch count matches at each round and both domes are of equal size before joining.
  • Correction: If you lose stitch count, frog (undo) to the last correct round and count out loud as you crochet.
  • If making a smaller/larger heart, adjust yarn and hook size, or rounds as needed.
  • Use a contrasting marker for marking decreases to avoid confusion.

Conclusion

With just basic single crochets, increases, and decreases, you can create beautiful heart-shaped amigurumi hangings or keychains. This makes a wonderful handmade gift or decorative item for your car, keys, or bags.
