  • color #83 pumpkin for half of the orange
  • color #55 white or #62 milk white for the segments
  • Alize Cotton Baby Soft, 50% cotton, 50% acrylic: 170 m/100g gr
  • color #37 orange for the orange peel
  • crochet hook that is convenient for  using this kind of yarn
  • needles for sewing
  • (I used a 2.5 mm hook)
  • wooden ring 2.2-2.4" (5.5-6 cm) in diameter
  • scissors
  • safety pins
  • stuffing (holo-fibre or any synthetic material)
  • rattle

Abbreviations

  • CH = chain
  • MC = magic circle
  • SC = single crochet
  • INC = increase (crochet 2 st in one stitch)
  • DEC = decrease (crochet 2 st together)
  • (...) = the figure inside the parenthesis equals the number of stitches in the round
  • X = repeat the instruction X times
