2 Save

  • Slip stitch to the first double crochet at the top of the chain 3.

After Round 3:

  • Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet).
  • Double crochet in the first stitch, then 2 double crochets in the next (increase).
  • Continue with 1 double crochet and an increase in the next around.
  • Complete round with 36 double crochets.
  • Slip stitch to join.

Round 4:

  • Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet).
  • Double crochet in the next two stitches, then make an increase.
  • Repeat this pattern around.

3 Save

  • Finish with 48 double crochets.
  • Slip stitch to join.

Rounds 5-7:

  • Continue by following the established increase pattern (increasing the number of double crochets between increases by one each round).

Round 5:

In Round 6:

  • 4 double crochets, then increase repeated.

Round 7:

4 Save
