Process
The pattern can be divided into several parts:
Head and Body: You will start with the pink yarn and crochet in rounds, increasing and decreasing stitches as per the pattern to create the shape of the head and body. Remember to install the safety eyes and keep stuffing as you go along.
Butt: Again, using pink yarn, create the butt portion as a separate piece and keep it aside.
Beak: Using the grey yarn initially and then moving on to the white, you'll create the beak using a series of chains, single crochets, and increases.
Wings: For wings, you'll use the pink yarn initially and then switch to white, creating the base and then folding it to create a voluminous effect. You will be required to crochet on both the front and back layers.
Legs: Grey yarn is used to crochet the long, dangly legs.
Finishing: Now sew the beak on the front of the head, attach the wings to both sides of the body, sew both of the legs to the bottom of the body and finally, don't forget to sew the "butt" portion to the back of the body. Stuff as required and you're all set!
