Crochet Christmas Glove Keychain Pattern Save

Materials:

  • Red color yarn
  • Crochet hook
  • White yarn for color change
  • Snowflakes and keychain for decoration (optional)

Abbreviations:

  • SC - Single Crochet
  • INC - Increase (two SCs in the same stitch)
  • DEC - Decrease (combine two stitches into one)
  • ST - Stitch

Instructions:

Magic Ring and Base

  • Make a magic ring.

For Row 1:

  • Work 6 SC into the magic ring. Join with a slip stitch to the first SC.
  • Remember to make a chain before starting a new row.

1 Save

Row 2:

  • [2 SC, 1 INC] twice. (8 SC in total)
  • Join with a slip stitch to the first SC of the round.

Row 3:

  • SC in each ST around. (8 SC)
  • Cut the yarn after completion.

2 Save

Glove Creation

In Row 1:

  • Create another magic ring, work 8 SC into it.

Row 2:

  • 8 INC (16 SC in total).

Rows 3-6:

  • SC in each ST around (16 SC in each row).
  • By the end of row 6, your work should start forming a bowl shape.

3 Save

Thumb Attachment

Row 7:

  • 7 SC, 1 DEC, then 6 SC. Attach the thumb:
  • Insert hook into the first ST of the thumb, pull yarn through and SC in next 2 STs.
  • Perform another DEC, then continue with 3 more SCs.
  • Join with a slip stitch to the first SC of the row.

After Row 8:

  • [6 SC, 1 DEC, 9 SC, 1 DEC, 3 SC]. Join with a slip stitch.

Row 9:

  • 14 SC, 2 DEC, 2 SC.

Row 10:

  • Repeat row 9 (same pattern).

4 Save

Change to White Yarn and Completion

Color Change:

  • To change to white yarn, make a chain with the new color and continue with SC as usual.

Rows 11-15:

  • Work SC in each ST around (17 SC in each row).

5 Save

Finishing:

  • After completing row 15, cut the yarn and hide it in your work.

Final Touches:

  • Turn the glove over.
  • Glue on the snowflakes and attach the keychain if desired.
