Materials Needed:

  • Premier Basics Chenille yarn in blush (main color) and white
  • A 4.5 mm crochet hook and a 7 mm crochet hook
  • Stitch marker
  • 10 mm safety eyes
  • Scissors
  • Darning needle
  • Stuffing material

Body and Head:

Start with a magic circle using the main color yarn and your 7 mm hook.

Save

  1. Round 1: Make 6 single crochets into the magic circle.
  2. Round 2: Single crochet increase (2 single crochets into each stitch) all the way around.
  3. Rounds 3-4: Single crochet in each stitch around.
  4. Round 5: Single crochet in the first 4 stitches, single crochet increase in the next 4 stitches, then single crochet in the last 4 stitches.
  5. Round 6: Single crochet in each stitch around (you should still have 16 stitches).
  6. Round 7: Single crochet into the first 4 stitches, then [single crochet increase, single crochet] repeat 4 times, then single crochet into the last 3 stitches. You should have 21 stitches.
  7. Rounds 8-9: Single crochet in each stitch around (21 stitches).
  8. Round 10: Single crochet in the first stitch, then single crochet decrease (combine the next two stitches into one). Repeat around.
  9. Rounds 11-15: Continue as per the pattern with increases and decreases as necessary to shape the head and the body.
  10. Fill with stuffing material as you go to ensure a firm shape.

Legs:

Create a magic circle with 4 single crochets for each leg.

  1. Increase in rounds using a mix of single crochets and decreases to shape the legs.
  2. Fill each leg with stuffing.

Head Plate:
