Pattern Corrections & Tips
Pattern Correction:
- The original video alternates "back bar" as BLO; ensure you consistently work into the back loop only where specified.
- For more precise shaping, match number of stitches/panel rows to your gauge and body measurements, especially for sizing outside Small.
Tips:
- Use a stitch marker at the start/end of armhole and collar borders to help with placement and join.
- Color changes: Always switch yarn in the last pull-through of the last stitch of the old color.
- Try the garment on before seaming. Adjust side seam length if you prefer more arm coverage or a different fit.
Conclusion
This striped sweater dress features clean lines, a comfortable fit, and classic ribbed borders. With its straightforward construction and modern details, it's perfect for both casual outings and layering in cooler weather.
